Some TV's will be banned from Calif. stores.

I was surprised to hear that news.
For restricting electric consumption, They will ban
some electricity-eater TV's from store's shelves.

Threshold is about 180-116 watts for 42-inch.
It means that at least plasma TV's will be banned.

But I will support this activity. I think those stuffs
are too much to be used in each houses.

Those days, most of makers took "high-end"
tactics. Bigger and so Higher-Priced.
This deal means that those tactics are denied socially.
They are wrong.

It may not matter, because they are already developing
"energy-efficent"new models.

But, till 2011 or 2013? That would be tough, maybe
impossible for some manufacturers. Great.

-----update 09/11/20
Would-be-banned Panasonic (plasma TV maker.) announced
new plasma TV that will reduce electricity consumption
by 40%. If it's not a magic of rhetoric, they can survive in
Calif. market. congratulation.
